LS2 HELMETS – FF805 Thunder Carbon Racing FIM

LS2 Helmet FF805 0

The top of the LS2 racing line that has been greatly modified from the previous generation, the FF323 Arrow C.

This latest model comes with a new inner glove set that is more comfortable to wear than before. It has added air intakes on the top of the forehead and ventilation holes on the inner forehead. Of course, it has significantly better ventilation than before. Plus, the wide view is a gimmick and character of this model. It also supports the installation of a water suction hose set that comes in the box.

The chin strap is larger. When threading the strap, it makes it softer and more comfortable. The end of the strap is secured with a magnetic peg. Feel around for it and it will stick.

Installing a new rear spoiler with super sports style vents makes it look much better than before. The overall aerodynamics are clearly improved, including the relatively light weight. As for the sound, I personally think it is not much better than the Arrow C.

This model is an FIM spec class, not a commercially available model like the Thunder C Racing, and has a different price tag (the FIM is more expensive).
But the overall helmet specs are not much different, so we have to wait and see when they will be imported for sale. Meanwhile, this FIM spec model has only a very small quantity of 40 helmets.

The smoke windshield that comes in the box has a light transmission value of approximately 55-60% (old models will have 80%).
Driving during the day in bright sunlight is comfortable for the eyes. At night, you can see to some extent in the light. However, it is still emphasized that it is not recommended to drive at high speed at night in low light.

A simple summary of the FF805 Thunder Carbon Racing FIM is that the inner gloves are soft and comfortable to wear, have good ventilation, are aerodynamic, and can comfortably support high speeds.
When the inner gloves are soft and comfortable to wear, for riders who focus on speed, it is recommended to reduce one size. Try it on and you will feel much tighter, but not too tight that it will hurt your cheeks and give you a headache (believe me, I have tried it).

There are only 40 pieces. If anyone wants them, they can search for them at dealers. Or if you want to wait for the standard release, it might take a long time, maybe even a year. 😅
