For those who know and have tried wearing it, they will know that if we talk about the LS2 brand helmet briefly, it is one of the helmets that is easy to use, comfortable to wear, has good air flow, wide and clear view, easy to reach price, and is worth using. It can be considered a distinctive identity of this brand.
LS2 HELMETS has clear and simple classifications of helmet standards into 3 types:
– Initial specification helmet group : It will be created in a special HPTT (High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology) process, where the ABS mixture is injected into the mold.
Used in high-precision industrial processes, this group of helmet specs uses a proprietary blend of polycarbonate, thermoplastics and a specially developed additional material called KPA: Kinetic Polymer Alloy , which makes it lightweight and highly resistant to impact, but flexible in distributing energy, meeting ECE 22.05 and DOT standards. It will be available in 2 Shell Sizes, supporting up to 3 XL.
– Mid-level helmet group : will be upgraded to HPFC type that uses high-performance composite fibers, meticulously combining a unique weaving of fibers pre-impregnated with resin, strong, ultra-lightweight, but with a hard shell that absorbs impact and distributes energy for safer riding. There will be 3 Shell Sizes to choose from, the smallest being 2XS (in some models) to the largest 3XL.
– High-spec helmet group : This is a model in the Road Race group that comes with the new European standard ECE22.06, which combines all the highest standards together, plus special techniques that LS2 has developed specifically, such as X-Static© Silver Liner Fabric (FIM model) and Made of Carbon 6K (with aramide fibers), multi-layer extra-wide woven carbon plus fibers for a lightweight but strong shell, for maximum efficiency and safety.
There are 3 Shell Sizes to choose from, the largest being 2XL.
This is a brief introduction to the LS2 HELMETS brand that has returned to market in our country once again. There is a lot of information about the specs. I will gradually summarize them for easy understanding in order to provide general information on future occasions.
